Evenflo is voluntarily recalling select Revolve180 LiteMax NXT infant car seats manufactured before April 1, 2025, and parents should check their base model number, follow Evenflo’s interim guidance, and register the seat. At New Parent Picks, we are an independent buying-guide site, not a testing lab, so we relay what Evenflo and NHTSA publish.
Your car seat is included in this recall only if BOTH of the following are true: your model number appears in the list below, and your car seat was manufactured before April 1, 2025.

Evenflo says testing found seats from initial production did not meet certain federal performance requirements due to a calibration issue with the level indicator. NHTSA campaign 26C005 lists the subject as “Incorrect Indicator for Recline Position/FMVSS 213”.
NHTSA’s acknowledgment letter for campaign 26C005 states: “Due to a miscalibrated level indicator, following the installation instructions can result in a child sitting more upright than intended.” NHTSA notes the consequence: “A child seat that is not reclined as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.”
NHTSA lists 22,981 potential units. Evenflo notes that no injuries have been reported in connection with this issue. More information on general notices is available on Evenflo’s product notices page.
Evenflo is providing a free repair kit as soon as possible. The remedy is free. No remedy date is published. Registered owners will be notified when it is available.
NHTSA says interim letters to owners are expected to be mailed beginning September 1, 2026, and additional letters when the remedy is available. Register at the Evenflo registration page; registered owners will be notified when the free remedy is available.
